Critical Corrected During Inspection Employees are not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health. PIC given copy of employee health form to use at time of inspection.

3717-1-03.2(C) / Packaged and unpackaged food - preventing contamination by separation, packaging, and segregation
Critical Corrected During Inspection Observed a package of turkey bacon stored above RTE vegtables. Per code raw meat should not be stored above RTE foods to prevent contamination. PIC moved bacon at time of inspection.

No written procedures for responding to vomiting or diarrheal events. PIC given copy at time of inspection.

3717-1-06.4(F) / Drying mops.
Observed mop sitting in mop water in the back. Mops shall be hung to dry to prevent contamination.

Comments
Went over complaint that gloves were observed not being worn during prep and that there were towels that were being used to wipe hands insted of washing hands. Told PIC that gloves need to be worn while prepping and that towels cannot be used to wipe hands when soiled.

I. Employee Health – Person in charge is aware of Ohio Administrative Code requirements, and has an employee health policy. Visible or known symptoms and/or diagnoses of illness are addressed according to Ohio Administrative Code. Proper use of restriction and exclusion. Employees are not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health. PIC given copy of employee health form to use at time of inspection.
VII. Protection from Contamination – Food separated and protected; food contact surfaces cleaned and sanitized; proper disposition of returned, previously served, reconditioned, and unsafe food.
