3717-1-04.5(D)/Nonfood-contact surfaces - cleaning frequency. Non-food contact surface(s) not cleaned at the required frequency. Observed an accumulation of food spilled on floor of walk in cooler. Observed brown spills and staining on shelves inside cabinet under coffee station where coffee and icee supplies are stored. Correct By: 25-May-2020
3717-1-04.1(C)/Food-contact surfaces - cleanability Observed subway serving spoons with cracks, chips, and other signs of excessive wear. Please replace. Correct By: 25-May-2020
3717-1-04.5(A)(3)/Cleanliness of nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment. Non-food contact surfaces of equipment are unclean. Observed an accumulation of dust on fan in subway kitchen. Fan is stored hanging from shelves in front of 3 compartment sink. Fan must be cleaned and front cover must be replaced. Observed spillage at the bottom of soft drink reach in cooler. 3717-1-06.4(B)/Cleaning - frequency and restrictions. Observed an accumulation of ice build up under compressor in walk in cooler and in ice cream/frozen novelty ice cream container.. Correct By: 25-May-2020
3717-1-06.1(I)/Light bulbs - protective shielding. No protective shielding on lights. Observed missing light shield in walk in cooler. Correct By: 25-May-2020
3717-1-05.1(S)/Plumbing system - maintained in good repair. Plumbing system not properly maintained or repaired. Observed toilet in restroom without lid on toilet tank. Correct By: 25-May-2020
3717-1-06.4(N)/Maintaining premises - unnecessary items and litter. Observed unnecessary items and litter in storage room and mop sink area. Items that are being used by the facility are unorganized.

Thank you for correcting some of the violations noted in the previous inspection report. PIC explained that he was unable to locate his Manager food safety certification and intends to retake the course in September (if offered). At the time of inspection, subway handwashing sink faucet was still too long. However, a newly purchased faucet was observed and they plan to replace the old faucet. Subflooring was also still exposed behind subway counter. PIC explained that he intends to replace the flooring soon, but is having difficulty locating someone who can install the floors. Light bulbs were replaced in mop sink area and rear storage room. However, only one light was observed in the walk in cooler. 7.8 foot candles measured in walk-in with only one light bulb (must be a minimum of 10FC).
