| Consultation conducted for replacement of beverage station next to the bar. It appears that the drop down beverage machine has created condensation inside of the wood wall enclosure. The built in enclosure is not accessible and easily cleanable. If remodeled, must submit plans to ensure area under beverage unit is accessible, easily cleanable, and prohibits growth of mold and mildew. Suggest installing a taller barrier along the side of the beverage station to help protect the beverage unit from contamination. Also suggest surfaces holding the beverage unit is stainless steel to prevent mold or mildew damage from moisture. Copy of plan review packet provided to the manager at time of inspection. |
