Received a complaint that employees were not using gloves when preparing food. Upon inspection, observed tongs in use for salad table. Pizzas and subs get cooked to 165 prior to serving, so gloves are not necessary for pizza and sub prep. Reminded manager that gloves are to be worn when handling ready to eat foods, such as cooked subs when wrapping, and gloves need to be changed when switching tasks. Manager is getting gloves to keep at sub wrapping table for easy access. Latex gloves available for use. Thank you. |
