3717-1-04.5(A)(3) / Cleanliness of nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment.
Observed handles of coolers and ovens with food residue on them. Observed the self-service beverage area by the cash register to have an accumulation of residue on the crevices of the machine. Please ensure that the equipment is cleaned at a frequency to ensure they are clean to both sight and touch.
Nonfood-contact surfaces of equipment shall be kept clean.

Observed gloves, thermometer, and test strips available for use. Observed proper cold and hot holding temperatures of food and equipment tested during time of inspection. Observed a Level II Ohio certification.
- Discussed filling in the break of cement underneath the dining room self-service beverage dispenser with grout so that the cement is smooth and easily cleanable.
- Discussed obtaining a written procedure for vomitus and diarrheal incidents describing how to clean and contain said accidents. A spill kit including all of the items needed to clean and contain the accident must also be accessible.
