Comments
PIC- Brian/ Kyle

Went over report with the PIC. There were some areas with very small amounts of damage to corner cove, etc. The inspection visited the facility for a complaint inspection but completed a standard inspection as well.

On 3/8/2019 received complaint stating: " Individual has seen dogs riding in the shopping carts at this grocery store. This is unsanitary and the individual believe that the pets may defecate or urinate in the store or carts causing contamination."

At the time of inspection there are signs posted stating that patrons should not have any dogs in the carts upon entering. The manager stated that due to prior complaint related to this subject the store policy is that animals cannot be held in carts and management is aware that only service or police animals are allowed to enter the facility. Per Ohio Administrative Code 3717-6.4(O)(3) (3) Service animals that are controlled by the disabled employee or person, or the trainer of the service animal, in areas that are not used for food preparation and that are usually open for customers, such as dining and sales areas, if a health or safety hazard will not result from the presence or activities of the service animal.
