Joint inspection conducted with the BCCDC Food Safety and Environmental Health Specialist.
Milk pasteurization and paneer production occurring at the dairy plant side at the time of inspection.
Commercial kitchen was not in operation at the time of inspection.
Walk-in cooler at 4 C or below.
Walk-in freezer at -18 C or below. Do not overstock freezer or put things directly on the floor. Keep food trays away from door & curtains.
Hand sinks equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single-use towels.
High temperature dishwasher - temperature of the final rinse cycle is verified with temperature indicator labels and records maintained - good job.
Dry storage - food is protected from contamination.
Pest control services in place and there has been an improvement since last visit. Continue implementing pest control measures and checking for rodents daily and sanitizing affected areas (a few spots were missed: tool room & entrance storage area).
Fix the weather stripping at the bay door.
Remove any equipment that is no longer used or clean and cover-up equipment that is not used regularly.
