Report of Findings
Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received a complaint on February 5, 2025, regarding Care and Supervision.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained and reviewed from observations, interviews and a review of documentation.

Licensing confirmed the following:
- The children were not being actively supervised by staff which led to a child sustaining an injury.
- No care plan available for a child requiring extra support.

Licensing determined the following contraventions to the Child Care Licensing Regulation:
- Section 34(1) – Group sizes and employee to children ratios
- Section 58(2)(a) – Care plans

Observation: Staff did not see a child get injured as they were not actively supervising the children.
Corrective action: A corrective action plan has been submitted to licensing.
19250 - CCLR s.58(2)(a)The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation: A care plan was not developed in consultation with the parent or any person requested by the parent.
Corrective action: A corrective action plan has been submitted to Licensing.
