| Community Care Facilities Licensing (CCFL) received a complaint on February 5, 2025, regarding Care and Supervision. All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained and reviewed from observations, interviews and a review of documentation. Licensing confirmed the following: - The children were not being actively supervised by staff which led to a child sustaining an injury. - No care plan available for a child requiring extra support. Licensing determined the following contraventions to the Child Care Licensing Regulation: - Section 34(1) – Group sizes and employee to children ratios - Section 58(2)(a) – Care plans |
