304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)]
Observation: A number of rat droppings were stored in the dry storage room. Rats are likely coming from the holes in the wall near electrical panel. These holes were required to be plugged during the previous inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Carefull check all corners of the dry storage shed for evidence of rat droppings. Remove all droppings and disinfect the affected areas with 1:10 bleach solution. Hire a licensed pest control company for pest proofing of all structures. Seal all holes or gaps bigger than 1/4 inch. ( Immediately)

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: An upright freezer and a slidign door cooler in the kitchen trailer were not found to be in working order. All foods were discarded during the inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Repair or replace the cooler and freezer so that they are capable of operating at 4 C or below and -18 C or below, respectively.
A licensed refrigeration mechanic must check all refrigeration unit to ensure they are functioning properly ( Immediately).

Comments

* A brand-new ATCO 11 X 52 feet kitchen trailer has been placed behind the buffet service area. All food items will be prepared in the commercial kitchen trailer.
The kitchen trailer is well equipped with commercial equipment,ventilation and sinks etc as per the approved plans.
* You must develop a new temperature log sheet for all coolers and freezers in the trailer, dry storage room and in buffet service area. Thermometers must be available
in all units and temperatures must be monitored at least once a day. Immediate corrective actions must be taken if temperatures are not found to be in correct range.
Write and submit a food safety plan for new trailer.
* A separate log sheet must be developed for monitoring final rinse temperature for the dishwasher ( Must be between 180-190 F).
* The dishwasher must be hooked up to commercial dish washing detergent solution.
* Install a hose bib vacuum breaker at the mop sink/janitorial sink.
* Remove the ice maker as it is blocking access to mop sink.
* You must get the new trailer inspected for electrical safety, gas safety and fire safety. Please contact Langley Fire department for further information.
* Ensure that on site septic system is capable of handling waste water flow. Ensure that the hook up is certified by a registered on site waste water practitioner.
