[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c) / Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Critical Repeat Corrected During Inspection Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool.
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e) / Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
Critical Repeat Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection. There was no detectable chlorine in the baby pool at the time of the inspection, ACC registered an ORP reading of 291 mV and was not triggering the chlorine pump to feed chlorine to the system as it should.
Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation. Correct By: 06-Jul-2016
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Repeat Corrected During Inspection Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.

3701-31-04 ( D )(6)(a) / ORP reading shall be 650 millivolts or greater.
Repeat ORP reading of 291 mV was below 650 mV.
Have the ACC unit inspected to determined why the ORP is low.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h) / Required meters and gauges maintained/functional
Repeat No flow detected at the flow meter for the wading pool.
Repair or replace flow meter so that flow rate and turnover rate can be monitored and assured. Maintain all meters and gauges in a properly funtioning manner at all times while the pool is in operation.

Inspection Information

[?] Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Follow-up

[?] Inspection Date: 22-June-2016

The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iv)/Water temperatures are recorded daily
Water temperatures were not being recorded daily.
Take and record the water temperature at least once/day.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vi)/Total alkalinity is tested weekly
Total alkalinity was not tested weekly.
Test total alkalinity at least once/week.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(n)/Proper pool operating water level is maintained
The operating water level of the pool was not maintained at the midpoint of the opening of the skimmer. Water level was about an inch below the opening of the skimmer at the time of the inspection.
Increase the volume of the pool water until the pool operating water level is restored. Water was added by this writer during the inspection.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)/pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
Estimated pH reading of 6.7 (test kit range extends only to 6.8) was well outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8 required by code.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(3)/Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(b)/pH and ORP values shall be displayed.
pH value of 7.8 is more than a full point higher than the actual measured pH of 6.7.
Clean and recalibrate the pH probe so that accurate pH values are being displayed on the unit. If necessary have the ACC unit serviced by a qualified service tech or replaced with one that displays more accurate readings.
