3701-31-04 (B)(4)(c) / SVRS/APSOS/ACC test results/ service records are maintained
ACC test results service records were not maintained.
The test results/service records for these devices must be kept on site for review. If the device has not been recently serviced, have the device tested immediately and provide documentation of the test results. ACC flow switch was tested during this inspection. While chemical feed pumps did not activate during the flow interruption simulation, the display for the ACC unit failed to register an audible or visual no flow alarm.
3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Repeat Total alkalinity measrured at 40 ppm during the inspection was less than the minimum acceptable reading of 60 ppm established by code.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(d) / Flow or pressure switch with a shut off valve shall be provided and tested monthly.
Critical Repeat Flow or pressure switch did not trigger an audible or visual alarm on the ACC display when a flow interruption was simulated through the flow cell,and the flow switch for the ACC unit is not being tested monthly with results recorded in the daily pool operation reports.
Have the ACC unit serviced or replaced with a unit that has a flow or pressure switch with an automatic shut off valve. Provide records indicating that the unit is being tested monthly.
