[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Repeat Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools. Several weekends did not have recordings. Additionally, several days had only two readings when there should have been three readings taken.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Repeat Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use. Several weekends did not have any readings recorded.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii) / pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Repeat pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools. Several weekends did not have readings.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iv) / Water temperatures are recorded daily
Repeat Water temperatures were not being recorded daily. Several weekends did not have any readings.
Take and record the water temperature at least once/day.
3701-31-04 (B)(6) / Equipment is maintained per manufacturers specifications.
Repeat Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. Skimmer weirs were not observed in one of the two skimmer baskets.
All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. Make sure to have skimmer weirs in each of the skimmer baskets.

Inspection Information

[?] Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

[?] Inspection Date: 23-July-2018

Comments
-The disinfectant residuals and water quality parameters meet code requirement. Chlorine levels were observed to be rather high at around 20 ppm. Although there is not a maximum at this point, 20 ppm is the point when chlorine may become harmful to swimmers. Adding chlorine dissipater or fresh water to the pool may be necessary to bring the chlorine levels back down. Make sure to keep an eye on the chlorine feeder as well to find a good feed point to keep the chlorine at about 2-4 ppm.
-All required safety equipment was provided.
-The pool perimeter was secure.
-The filter pressure was 15 psi.
-The pool water is clear,
-Make sure to test and record readings three times a day every day the pool is open.
