Inspection Information

[?] Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Follow-up

[?] Inspection Date: 29-August-2022

The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c)/Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Observed the pool water free chlorine disinfectant residual to be 0 ppm.
Increase the free chlorine disinfectant residual to 1 ppm or above prior to opening the pool to bathers. Recommend maintained a disinfectant residual of 2-4 ppm.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i)/Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. Observed multiple days in the pool log book where the disinfectant residuals were not recorded at the required interval.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii)/pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. Observed multiple days in the pool log book where water pH was not recorded at the required interval.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)/pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. Observed the pool water pH to be 8.0.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2)/Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm. Observed the pool water to have a free chlorine disinfection residual of 0 ppm.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above. Recommend maintaining a free chlorine disinfectant residual of 2-4 ppm.
