3701-31-04 ( D )(6)(a) / ORP reading shall be 650 millivolts or greater.
Repeat ORP reading was below 650 mV.
Have the ACC unit inspected to determined why the ORP is low. 3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c) / Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Critical Repeat Corrected During Inspection Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool.
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation. Residual was increased to at least 5 ppm by inspector overriding the ACC. Chemical feed pump was plugged back into the ACC prior to inspection conclusion. 3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Repeat Total alkalinity measured at 30 ppm was less than minimum 60 ppm required by code.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm. 3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Repeat Corrected During Inspection Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.
The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection. |
---|
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vi)/Total alkalinity is tested weekly Total alkalinity was not tested weekly. Test total alkalinity at least once/week. |
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vii)/Cyanuric acid is tested weekly Cyanuric acid was not tested weekly. Stabilized trichlor tablet observed in the skimmer basket at the time of the inspection. These tablets add cyanuric acid to the pool. Since cyanuric acid is being added to the pool, the operator must test and record cyanuric acid level at least once/week. |
3701-31-04 (C)(2)/pH is within 7.2 to 7.8 pH reading (which was significantly less than 6.8 - controller readout was 5.9) was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range. |
3701-31-04 (D)(02)/Public swimming pool is continuously disinfected using a chemical feeding device connected to the circulation system A trichlor tablet was found inside the skimmer basket at the time of the inspection. The pool must be continuously disinfected using a chemical feeding device connected to the circulation system. |

Critical violations (low / no disinfectant residual) were corrected by this inspector during the inspection. Pool Manager was notified of findings during inspection. |
