Repeat Total alkalinity was not tested weekly. The person in charge was not aware of the testing method.
Test total alkalinity at least once/week.

Repeat Vac Alert test results/ service records were not maintained.
The test results/service records for these devices must be kept on site for review. If the device has not been recently serviced, have the device tested immediately and provide documentation of the test results.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(s) / Perimeter barrier is in good repair to prevent unauthorized entry
Repeat Observed a wooden gate located near the snack shack is not self closing and self latching.
Repair the perimeter barrier so that there are not any gaps greater than 4 inches anywhere along the barrier. Recommended to Sue Longo (Assistant Manager) to either permanently lock the gate or ensure the gate is self closing and self latching.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Repeat Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm. Noted at .6 ppm.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.

3701-31-04 (C)(3)/Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm. Noted at 50 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)/The public swimming pool has safety equipment visible
The safety equipment for the pool was not accessible and/or visible. A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was placed in the storage room.
Place the safety equipment in a clearly visible area and ensure that the equipment is accessible in the event of an emergency.
3701-31-04 (E)(3)(c)/Location of emergency telephone posted when the phone is not visible.
Sign indicating the location of the emergency device (telephone) was not provided and emergency device was not visible in the pool area. As per person in charge the phone located inside the club will be used by pool patrons for emergency services.
Ensure that a sign informing patrons of the location of the emergency device is always visible in the pool area.
Comments
The free chlorine residual was noted at 0.2 ppm. Pool was voluntarily closed due to low levels of chlorine residual. "Danger Pool Closed" sign was posted.
A reinspection has been scheduled. Please make sure chlorine residual meets the code requirement before you open the pool for public.
