Repeat Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. Observed the pool interior to be chipped and peeling in several locations.
All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications.

Repeat Deck surfaces had standing water or other hazards. Observed the pool deck to be chipped around the skimmer box located at the south corner of the pool. Observed the pool deck corner to be chipped at the north end of the pool. Observed the pool deck to be deteriorated/chipped along the east side of the pool near the wading pool.
Repair areas of the deck where standing water is occurring. If more than 50% of the deck must be replaced, plans must be submitted to the Ohio Department of Health for review and approval.

Comments
--Unable to complete full inspection. Pool was closed to bathers upon arrival. Was informed by the operator that the pool pump is no longer functioning.
--Pump replacement must be exact make and model of original and be within 10% of the previous output. If a pump of a different make and model is installed, ensure an Equipment Replacement Notification form is submitted to the Ohio Department of Health for review and approval.
--Ensure the Safety Vacuum Release System (SVRS) is tested per manufacturer's instructions and test results and/or service records are maintained. Ensure test results and/or service records are made available to Clermont County Public Health upon request.
--Ensure a DPD test kit is available for testing the chlorine disinfection residuals of the pool water.
--Have property manager contact Clermont County Public Health at rpeltier@clermontcountyohio.gov or 513-732-7651 once a decision has been made to either repair the pump and re-open the pool this season or to close the pool for the remainder of the swimming season.
--If pool is to remain closed, will follow-up next licensing year.
