[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Disinfection residuals were not tested on the day of the inspection prior to use.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Combined chlorine was not tested on the day of the inspection prior to use.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iii) / pH is tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
pH was not tested on the day of the inspection prior to use.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2) / Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual shall be above 1 ppm.
Critical Corrected During Inspection Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was measured at 0.7 ppm.
The chlorine feeder was increased to add more chlorine. Free chlorine was increased to 1.75 ppm after 15 minutes.

Inspection Information

[?] Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard and Complaint

[?] Inspection Date: 01-August-2016

Comments
Complaint on 28-Jul-2016 : Complaint stated: Algae on pool bottom. Sometimes lots of dead bugs, frogs, etc. on pool bottom that stay there for days.
Investigation notes: Algae was not observed on the bottom of the pool. Bugs or frogs were not observed on the bottom of the pool. However, two dead frogs were observed in one of the skimmer baskets. The frogs were removed from the skimmer basket.

Inspection Notes:
-The disinfectant residuals and water quality parameters meet code requirement.
-Free chlorine was measured at 0.7 initially ppm, the ideal range is 2-4 ppm.
-Total alkalinity was measured at 60 ppm, the ideal range is 80-120.
-All required safety equipment was provided.
-The pool perimeter was secure.
-The filter pressure was measured at 6 psi.
-The pool water is clear.
-Turn over rate was 321 minutes.
