Hot and cold holding equipment thermometer was missing, located incorrectly, or not easily readable. Observed no temperature measuring device located in ice cream reach in freezer. Ensure there is a thermometer placed in all cold holding equipment and easily located for monitoring of temperatures.

Corrected During Inspection Observed box of single-use cups on stored directly on floor. Ensure storage of single-use.single service items is kept above the floor at least 6 inches.

3717-1-04.4(S)(1)
Corrected During Inspection Re-use of single-service or single-use articles. Observed single-use cups being used as scoops in topping storage containers. Ensure one-use items are used as such and proper food equipment is used so that it is easily cleanable.

Comments
Complaint received regarding bare hand contact of ready to eat food items, including bananas. Spoke with owners of nature of complaint and that there must be a physical barrier between any ready-to-eat food items including the cones, toppings, etc. Saw no evidence of staff bare handing any ready-to-eat food commodity during course of inspection.
