3701-31-04 (B)(4)
The licensee /authorized representative was not keeping or maintaining operational records. Incomplete records were being kept for pool. Include dates, times, and other requirements. Employee stated the flow switch was being tested monthly, however it was not being recorded.
All facility records must be maintained and available for review upon request.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)
Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. Skimmers weirs were missing or not functioning correctly in both skimmers.
All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. Repair these skimmers so that they operate correctly.
3701-31-04 (C)(2)
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. PH was around 6.8 to 7.0 at time of inspection.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(3)
Repeat Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm. Alkalinity was 30 ppm at time of inspection.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e)
Emergency device (telephone) was not working. The emergency phone was not operational.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(2)
Critical Pool free chlorine disinfectant residual was below 1 ppm. Chlorine was at 0 ppm at start of inspection and was raised to .2 ppm. Operator closed pool at time of inspection due to low free chlorine levels.
Do not operate the pool until the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above.
Comments
Make sure all employees testing the pool are trained on requirements and the pool is tested at pool side before opening and every 12 hours while opened. Pool is to remained closed until the free chlorine is above 1.0ppm.
