3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii)/Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(a)(ii)/The interior surfaces white or of an approved color
The interior of the pool was painted with a color not approved by the Director of Health. The paint of the spa is missing in numerous spots and is affecting the overall color.
Submit paint color to the Director of Health for review and approval or repaint the interior white or another color that is on the approved paint color list.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f)/Required turnover rates are sufficient
Required turnover rates were not met. Flow rate for the spa was at 40 gpm and needs to be at 53 gpm or higher.
Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reasons have been determined have the issue repaired. If necessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve.
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(d)/Flow or pressure switch with a shut off valve shall be provided and tested monthly.
Flow switch for a shut off valve was not tested monthly. Flow switch was tested at time of inspection.
Provide records indicating that the unit is being tested monthly.
3701-31-04(D)(6)(a)(1)/Combined chlorine shall not exceed 1.0 ppm.
Combined chlorine was greater than 1.0 ppm.
Treat the pool so that the combined chlorine is less than 1 ppm.

Inspection is a follow up to inspection done in April 2018. All violations recorded during that inspection have been corrected. A standard inspection will be conducted separately today.
