3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii)
Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 12 hours while the pool is in use. Also, make note of the time of the test.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(c)(ii)
Backwash lines and lines from drainage sumps did not have an air gap prior to discharge.
Open the lines that discharge into the backwash or drainage sumps so that there is an air gap and the lines can drain freely.
3701-31-04 (C)(3)
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm. At time of inspection, the total alkalinity was at 40 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(d)
Critical Flow switch for the autamotic controller was not working properly and the unit was not tested monthly.
Have the ACC unit serviced or replaced with a unit that has a flow or pressure switch with an automatic shut off valve. Provide records indicating that the unit is being tested monthly.
Comments
At time of inspection, the controller feeding acid into the pool seemed to be operating incorrectly. The controller may need calibrated as the ph display read 8.0 and the actual PH was 7.5. A follow up inspection will be conducted on Friday, 10/6/17 to observe all violations corrected.
