3701-31-04 (B)(6) Equipment was not maintained per manufacturers specifications. The light in the spa was not operational at time of inspection. All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. The spa was designed and approved with the light in the spa to be operational. This may affect lighting levels and safety during times when the spa is open for patrons.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(c)(ii) Backwash lines and lines from drainage sumps did not have an air gap prior to discharge. Open the lines that discharge into the backwash or drainage sumps so that there is an air gap and the lines can drain freely.

3701-31-04 (C)(2) pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. At time of inspection the spa pH was below measurable levels. Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.

PH is below measurable levels. Increase PH to 7.2-7.8. Operator stated that he will adjust the pH today. The drain for the spa is not properly air gapped. There must be an adequate air gap to prevent back siphonage of waste water. Flow switch was operational and tested at time of inspection. Make sure to document testing of the flow switch.
