Violations: A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i)
Repeat Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. (AT TIME OF INSPECTION THE POOL WAS OPEN TO BATHERS BUT NO POOL CHEMISTRY HAD BEEN PERFORMED/DOCUMENTED TODAY AND ON NUMBEROUS OTHER DAYS ACCORDING TO POOL RECORDS)
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii)
Repeat Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use. (AT TIME OF INSPECTION THE POOL WAS OPEN TO BATHERS BUT NO POOL CHEMISTRY HAD BEEN PERFORMED/DOCUMENTED TODAY AND ON NUMBEROUS OTHER DAYS ACCORDING TO POOL RECORDS)
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the combined chlorine must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Repeat pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. (AT TIME OF INSPECTION THE POOL WAS OPEN TO BATHERS BUT NO POOL CHEMISTRY HAD BEEN PERFORMED/DOCUMENTED TODAY AND ON NUMBEROUS OTHER DAYS ACCORDING TO POOL RECORDS)
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(iv)
Repeat Water temperatures were not being recorded daily. (AT TIME OF INSPECTION THE POOL WAS OPEN TO BATHERS BUT NO POOL CHEMISTRY HAD BEEN PERFORMED/DOCUMENTED TODAY AND ON NUMBEROUS OTHER DAYS ACCORDING TO POOL RECORDS)
Take and record the water temperature at least once/day.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(c)
Repeat SVRS/APSOS/ACC test results/ service records were not maintained.
The test results/service records for these devices must be kept on site for review. If the device has not been recently serviced, have the device tested immediately and provide documentation of the test results.
Comments
It was observed that on 9/12 and 9/13 there was 0 chlorine in the pool yet it appears that the pool remained opened (as paperwork was not marked pool closed). If there is 0 chlorine (disinfectant), the pool MUST be closed to bathers until at least 1 ppm of free chlorine is obtained.

Ensure there are sufficient reagents available to conduct pool chemistry.

ERN for the new pump has been submitted to ODH but has not yet been approved. ODH has communicated to Hampton via email with questions that must be answered in order to move forward with approval.
