3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i)
Repeat Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Repeat Combined chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use.
Test for combined chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the combined chlorine must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Repeat Water temperatures were not being recorded daily.
Take and record the water temperature at least once/day.

A means of determining rate-of-flow was not found for all water pumps.
Properly install a flow meter or have a pump curve available for every water pump used for the pool.

Ladders/stairs/steps were not in good repair or were not slip resistant. (AT TIME OF INSPECTION THE HAND RAIL TO ENTER THE POOL WAS LOOSE. ONE OF THE LADDERS TO ENTER/EXIT THE POOL WAS LOOSE (OPERATOR HAD THIS LADDER TAPED OFF PREVENTING BATHERS FROM USING IT))
Repair or replace the ladders/stairs/steps so that they are slip resistant and in good repair.
3701-31-04 (C)(3)
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii)
A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. (AT TIME OF INSPECTION ONE OF THE LIFE BUOYS DID NOT HAVE THE ROPE ATTACHED)
Provide a proper floatation device at all times.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e)
Corrected During Inspection Emergency device (telephone) was not working.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities.
Comments
~ POOL WAS CLOSED AT THE TIME OF THIS INSPECTION DUE TO THE HEATER NOT FUNCTIONING.
~ Pool chemistry MUST BE CONDUCTED EVERY DAY PRIOR TO BATHERS ENTERING POOL (pool opening for the day) AND EVERY 12 HOURS THAT THE POOL IS OPEN. NO EXCEPTIONS.
~ If the pool is CLOSED, THE PAPERWORK MUST BE MARKED "CLOSED".
~ Recommend placing pool records in a 3 ring binder for easier access and organization.
~ Keep daily pool records in the same place after taking readings. POOL RECORDS MUST BE ABLE TO BE PRESENTED AT TIMES OF INSPECTION.
