Critical Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e)
Critical Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection
Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04 (D)(02)
Critical The pool was not being continuously disinfected using a chemical feeding device connected to the circulation system
Repair or replace the disinfection system so that the pool is continuously being disinfected.
Comments
Pool was closed at time of inspection due to the heater not working. Chlorine was unable to be detected when tested. Manager stated that chlorine was being manually added to the pool. Chlorine cannot be manually added as the primary way of disinfecting the pool. These violations are critical operational items and the licensee shall not operate the pool until these items are corrected. Please contact the office prior to reopening for a full inspection. A full inspection was not completed because the pool was closed.
