| Spoke with Don Fraley today. He stated that at a meeting this morning it was determined that the pool is to remain licensed but facility is wanting to renovate - sandblast sides of the pool, remove jets (for resistance swimming), etc. I directed establishment to call Ohio Dept. of Health Public Swimming Pool program (and provided the phone number) to determine if plans will be required to be submitted with what they intend to do. Don suggested that establishment has yet to decide what all will be done to make improvements to this pool. I strongly encouraged that contact is made with ODH prior to any work performed because if permits and plans will be required it is best to find that out prior to any work performed. No inspection could be completed because pool was closed. |
