Welcome to the Lawrence County Health Department Inspection Website. Our Environmental Health Staff promotes public health by addressing many of the environmental factors that can affect human health. The staff’s goal is preventing human illness or injury through public education, regulation and advocacy. Sanitarians in the department perform a wide variety of public health functions which include inspection, regulation, and enforcement of food facilities public swimming pools and body art (tattoo and body piercing) studios.

LCHD is working in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Health to make inspection reports of regulated facilities more accessible to the public. We routinely report ongoing inspection activities within these programs here. Over time, additional regulated facility types will be added to this site.
