| I met with the operators to discuss how we measured pH at the pool. They perform their sampling from ports in the equipment room (below ACC panels). Upon comparing test kits, we found that my test kit ran near 7.2pH while theirs ran at 7.4pH. The chemical controllers also showed the pH at 7.4. There appear to be small differences in the test kits, likely in the color standards used where theirs is a liquid actual color standard and ours is not. The pH was found to be in compliance with the 7.2-7.8 range in code. The operators also provided a copy of their approved equipment replacement for the disinfectant feeder, which is attached on a separate note to file. |
