Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

Inspection Type: Follow-up

Inspection Date: 01-August-2018

The following violation(s) have been corrected since the last inspection.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(c)/Minimum disinfection residual shall be maintained as required.
Observed the disinfection residual at 0 ppm at time of inspection.
The wading pool was closed upon inspection when discovered that the disinfection residual was less than 1 ppm chlorine. The wading pool cannot reopen until the minimum disinfection residual of 1 ppm of chlorine is achieved. Recommended that the operator raise the chlorine level in which the Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) is set at. Correct By: 31-Jul-2018
Comments
The pool operator was not present during the inspection. This was a follow up reinspection due to the wading pool not meeting the required minimum chlorine residual at last inspection. The levels are now back up and compliant.

I could not access the pump room at time of inspection because none of the present employees had a key to the room, thus the flow rate could not be measured nor the ORP recorded. Suggested that the key be duplicated and one copy to be left at the facility.
