3701-31-04 ( D )(6)(a) / ORP reading shall be 650 millivolts or greater.
ORP reading was below 650 mv, as it was observed at 450 mv.
Have the ACC unit inspected to determined why the ORP is low.
3701-31-04 (B) / All facilities are maintained clean, safe and sanitary condition and in good repair.
Observed two cement blocks and white cone in the shallow end by ladder and lifeguard station.
Address pool bottom issue to prevent cement blocks and white cone from being in pool. Noted that lifeguards should monitor this area closely.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8, as it was tested at 7.0.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm, as it was tested at 50 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii) / A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line provided
A USCG Type IV personal flotation device was present, however, a throw line was not provided.
Provide a proper floatation device with 30-60 ft thrown line.
3701-31-04 (E)(4)(b) / Written plan for lifeguard coverage available for all pools 6,000 sq. ft or larger
The written lifeguard coverage plan was not available for review for pools 6,000 sq. ft or larger.
Prepare and provide a written lifeguard coverage plan that contains all the required elements according to the rule. The plan must be available for review upon request.
3701-31-04 (E)(4)(e)(viii) / Lifeguards are currently certified by an approved entity for life guard training
Observed that lifeguard training certificates, CPR certificates and first aid training were not available on-site.
Ensure that lifeguard training documentation is readily available on-site for verification.
