3701-31-04 (B)(6)(o) / Ladders/stairs/steps are in good repair/slip resistent
Ladders/stairs/steps were not in good repair or were not slip resistant.Railing for stairs in shallow end was loose.
Repair or replace the ladders/stairs/steps so that they are slip resistant and in good repair. Railing needs to be tightened.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(p) / Deck surfaces are free of standing water or other hazards.
Deck surfaces had standing water or other hazards. Concrete on interior edge of pool is beginning to fall off. Paint was observed chipped on the bottom of the pool.
Repair areas of the deck where standing water is occuring. If more than 50% of the deck must be replaced, plans must be submitted to the Ohio Department of Health for review and approval.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(ii) / A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line provided
A USCG Type IV personal flotation device with 30 -60 foot throw line was not provided at the unguarded pool. USCG flotation devices were not equipped with a throw line.
Provide a proper floatation device at all times. Throw lines shall be attached to existing flotation devices or a new one needs to be purchased.
