Critical Corrected During Inspection Observed unlocked outdoor shed inside main pool boundaries with multiple containers of hydrochloric acid stored in it.
Off-duty lifeguard immediately locked shed on-site.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Observed missing combined chlorine entries on pool log for Tuesday and Thursday of week inspection was performed.
Test for and record combined chlorine level for pool on pool log daily before opening pool to bathers.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vi) / Total alkalinity is tested weekly
Observed alkalinity level not being recorded weekly on pool log.
Test alkalinity level and record on pool log weekly.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vii) / Cyanuric acid is tested weekly
Repeat Observed cyanuric acid not being recorded as tested weekly on pool log.
Test for and record cyanuric acid on pool daily log weekly.
3701-31-04 (B)(5) / Records are maintained for at least two years
Repeat Main drain paperwork was not readily available on-site.

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(f) / Required turnover rates are sufficient
Repeat Required turnover rate was not met as minimum flow rate was not reached per flow meter. Flow meter reading was 150gpm and minimum flow rate to achieve the required turnover rate is 250gpm.
Have the circulation system evaluated to determine why the turnover rates are not able to be met. Once the reason(s) have been determined, have assue repaired. If neccessary, submit plans to the Ohio Department of Health to review and approve.

Observed high water level due to recent rains, with water overflowing from pool onto concrete deck.
Drain water from pool until at acceptable level (halfway mark at skimmers).
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(o) / Ladders/stairs/steps are in good repair/slip resistent
Observed loose ladder at 12 ft level on left side of pool. Observed faded slip grip material at 3ft white ladder.

Repeat Observed telescopic reach pole at 12 ft area of pool.
Purchase a 12 ft non-telescopic pole for pool.

Observed no signage at pool stating where to find emergency phone/ that emergency phone is located at concession stand register.
Add signage at pool area that states where emergency phone is located.

Concrete patching is coming up at holes where old equipment was removed on right side of pool between life guard chair and 5ft ladder. Recommend adding more concrete patch.
