Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(o) / Ladders/stairs/steps are in good repair/slip resistent
Repeat Ladders/stairs/steps were not in good repair or were not slip resistant. Ladders observed loose in their sockets.
Repair or replace the ladders/stairs/steps so that they are slip resistant and in good repair. Secure ladders to prevent injury during egress from pool.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(t) / Equipment/chemical/storage areas are free of hazards/accessible only to authorized personnel.
Critical No lock observed on pump room door to disallow swimmers access to pump room. Two doors observed in clubhouse, one leading to maintenance room, and through which, pump room door is found with no lock from the inside.
Ensure that the pump room itself (the second door) has a lock on it to disallow entry from unauthorized personnel.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. pH observed in excess of 8.0. Auto chemical controller observed reading pH at 99.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range. Fix auto chemical controller to fix pH issues.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(a)(i) / 12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole with shepherd's crook is provided
12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole with shepherd's crook was not provided at the unguarded pool.
Provide a 12 ft. non-telescopic reach pole in the pool area at all times.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(b)(ii) / A back/spine board with straps and head immobilizers
A back/spine board with straps and head immobilizers was not provided at the guarded pool. Head immobilizaer observed with missing side cushion. No straps for spine board observed.
Replace head/neck immobilizaer for spineboard, and acquire straps for the sides of the spineboard.
