Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 01-June-2022

Comments
When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover(s) is/are available in the equipment room. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Hayward WG1048E) were installed 10/1/2017. The covers have a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 10/1/2024.

Recommended that the chlorine level be reduced below 10 ppm.
