[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (D)(8) / Acceptable test kit provided/adequate/in good repair
The test kit provided was not adequate to test for all the water quality parameters required to be regularly monitored. -Observed test strips being used to test the water quality. -The disinfection tests shall measure combined bromine residual with a test that uses diethyl l-p-phylenylenediamine (DPD). DISCONTINUE USING TEST STRIPS FOR WATER QUALITY TESTING. OBTAIN A PROPER TEST KIT TO ACCURATELY TEST FOR pH, COMBINED BROMINE, AND ALKALINITY.
Obtain a test kit that can properly measure all the required water quality parameters. Correct By: 09-Jun-2023

Comments
-The Certificate of Compliance is not available for the main drain cover. Find the install date and certificate of compliance, and keep a copy at the facility for future review.
-Ensure the gates are locked to the pool are locked when the pool is closed.
-The SVRS should be tested and documented at least once a month.
-The PIC noted that they take water samples weekly to a local pool service store to test more extensively for water quality. In house daily testing is done with test strips. Discontinue testing with test strips. Obtain a proper test kit. Ensure all "volunteers" are properly trained to test the pool water for combined bromine and pH every 4 hours when the pool is open, because there is no automatic chemical controller. Water temp should be recorded daily. Total alkalinity should be tested and recorded weekly. Save all water testing results if it is being tested by a pool store.
