Critical Chlorine disinfectant residual was less than 1 ppm for the pool
Do not operate the pool when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 1 ppm or above prior to placing the pool back into operation. THIS VIOLATION IS A IMMINENT HEALTH HAZARD. THE OPERATOR CLOSED THE POOL AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. AND CALLED FOR REPAIRS. DO NOT REOPEN POOL UNTIL CHLORINE LEVEL IS 1 PPM OR ABOVE.
3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e) / Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
Critical Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection
Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation. OPERATOR CLOSED THE POOL AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION. DO NOT REOPEN THE POOL UNTIL THE ACC IS REPAIRED AND OPERATING.

Total alkalinity was not tested weekly.

Post the "WARNING or DANGER - POOL CLOSED" sign at all times the pool is not available for use. PROVIDE A SIGN THAT STATES "WARNING - POOL CLOSED".

Keep documentation of the ASSE 1013 backflow preventer’s annual inspection available at the pool facility for review by the health department.

Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are kept in the equipment room and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical gloves and goggles, are available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain covers is available in the equipment room.

The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately. Educational material is enclosed with this report of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions.
