Critical Equipment/chemical/storage areas were not secured. -Observed the equpiment room for the women's spa was left unsecured.
These storage areas must be kept inaccessible to everyone but authorized personnel. Secure the areas. -REMOVE THE TAPE FROM THE DOOR HANDLE LATCH. THE DOOR MUST REMAIN CLOSED AND LOCKED WHEN NOT IN USE. Correct By: 10-Mar-2023
3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Repeat Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm. -Observed the alkalinity in the women's spa to be 20 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm. -ADJUST THE ALKALINITY IN THE SPA. Correct By: 16-Mar-2023
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(d) / Flow or pressure switch with a shut off valve shall be provided and tested monthly.
Critical Flow or pressure switch for a shut off valve was not provided or the unit was not tested monthly. -Observed the testing for flow switch on the ACC was not being documented monthly.
Have the ACC unit serviced or replaced with a unit that has a flow or pressure switch with an automatic shut off valve. Provide records indicating that the unit is being tested monthly. -ENSURE THE FLOW SWITCH ON THE AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL CONTROLLER IS TESTED AND DOCUMENTED MONTHLY. Correct By: 16-Mar-2023
