Comments
Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Lawson MLD-SG-1212) were installed 5-25-21. The covers have a 10 year life span and must be replaced before 5-25-31.

To prevent chemical accidents the chemical feeder pump should be moved from above other feeder pumps. Chemical feeder pumps should not be mounted above other chemical feeder pumps or chemical containers to prevent possible mixing of chemicals and producing toxic gas. If chlorine is mixed with muriatic acid chlorine gas is formed, which can lead to severe injuries and fatalities (SIFs) to exposed individuals.

Keep documentation of the ASSE 1013 backflow preventer’s annual inspection available at the pool facility for review by the health department.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

The weekly log sheet has the SVRS marked as inspected. The pool does not have an SVRS.
