3701-31-04 (B)(1)(e) / Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) shall function properly.
Critical Automatic Chemical Controller (ACC) was not functioning properly at the time of the inspection. AC alarm light was on, There was not flow to the test cell.
Do not operate the pool when the ACC unit is not functioning properly. Ensure that the ACC unit is functioning properly prior to placing the pool back into operation. REPAIR ACC BEFORE REOPENING THE POOL.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(ii) / Combined chlorine is tested daily at pool side prior to use
Total chlorine was not tested daily at pool side prior to use.
Test for total chlorine prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use combined chlorine must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. TEST FOR TOTAL CHLORINE AND CALCULATE FOR COMBINE CHLORINE. (USE REAGENT ROOO3) Correct By: 28-Jan-2023

3701-31-04 (B)(6)(c) / Cross connection hazards shall be prevented.
Repeat Cross connection hazards were present. Hose bib under the eye wash station not protected from back flow.
Remove all cross connection hazards from the pool area. PLACE A VACUUM BREAKER ON THE HOSE BIB THAT IS LOCATED UNDER THE EYE WASH STATION.

Test kit reagents were not fresh.
Obtain fresh reagents. REPLACE THE EXPIRED REAGENTS. THREE ALKALINITY, TWO CHLORINE.

POOL WAS NOT OPEN AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION.

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical gloves and goggles, are available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain covers is available in the equipment room. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (AVSCO A+A Manu AAMFG 832) were installed 5/23/2017. The covers have a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 5/23/2024.

The operator was given tips on water testing to improve the accuracy of the results. Acceptable water quality and record keeping handout sent with this report.
