Do not operate the spa when the disinfectant residuals are less than what is required. Ensure the chlorine disinfectant residual is at 2 ppm or above prior to placing the spa back into operation.
3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm. AFTER ADJUSTING THE CHLORINE ADJUST THE ALKALINITY. Correct By: 28-Jan-2022
3701-31-04 (D)(7) / Public spa shall have a functional automatic chemical controller
Critical Repeat The automatic chemical controller for the spa was not functioning properly. ORP was reading 780. Chlorine level was well over 1.8 ppm.
THIS IS A CRITICAL OPERATIONAL ITEM AND POSES AN IMMINENT HEALTH HAZARD. CLOSE THE SPA UNTIL THE ACC IS REPAIRED AND THE LEVELS RETURN TO ACCEPTABLE LEVELS. Correct By: 28-Jan-2022
