Comments
When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover(s) is/are available in the equipment room. The main drain suction outlet cover (Waterway 640-472xV) was installed on 6-1-19. The cover has a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 6-1-26.

The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately and is aware of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions.

KEEP TEST RECORDS ON ONE WEEKLY LOG SHEETS. KEEP ACC FLOW SWITCH/PUMP INTERLOCK FUNCTION TEST, ALKALINITY TEST, WATER TEMPERATURE, AND CYANURIC ACID WITH THE OTHER TEST RESULTS.

REPLACE THE STRAP ON THE SPINE BOARD.
