[?] A summary of the violations found during the inspection are listed below.

3701-31-04 (B)(1)(a) / Outlet covers shall be installed/secured/in compliance
Critical Outlet covers were not secured. -Observed there was only one screw in one of the newly installed drain covers. -PIC voluntarily closed the pool until the screw could be installed. -Contact LCPH when the missing screw is installed.
Do not operate the pool when the outlet covers are not secured. Secure the covers prior to the pool being placed back into operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(i) / Disinfection residuals are tested daily at pool side at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features
Disinfection residuals were not tested daily at pool side and/or at the required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. -The pool is technically open 24 hours a day, but the free chlorine is only tested 1-3 times per day. -SINCE THERE IS NO AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL CONTROLLER, THE DISINFECTION LEVELS SHOULD BE TESTED EVERY 4 HOURS THE POOL IS OPEN.
Test the disinfection residual every day before bathers enter the water. Disinfection residual must then be tested every 4 hours when an ACC is not in use. If an ACC is in use the disinfectant residual must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the disinfectant residual must be tested at 1 spray feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

pH was not tested daily at pool side and/or at required intervals for pools/automatic chemical controllers/special features. -The pool is technically open 24 hours a day, but the pH is only tested 1-3 times per day. -SINCE THERE IS NO AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL CONTROLLER, THE pH LEVELS SHOULD BE TESTED EVERY 4 HOURS THE POOL IS OPEN.
pH must be tested prior to bathers entering the water and every 4 hours the pool is open for use. If ACC is in use pH must be tested every 12 hours while the pool is in use. For spraygrounds and spray features, the pH must be tested at 1 special feature every 6 hours the sprayground or spray feature is in use.

Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 06-June-2023

Comments
THE POOL WAS VOLUNTARILY CLOSED BY THE PIC. DUE TO THE DRAIN COVER NOT BEING SECURED.

CONTACT LCPH FOR A RE-INSPECTION WHEN THE SCREW IS INSTALLED IN THE DRAIN COVER.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain covers is available in the equipment room. Two Waterway 9x9 main drain covers were installed on 5/15/23. The drain covers are good for 7 years and expire on 5/15/2030.

The pool does not have set operating hours, so technically it is open 24 hours a day. The pool does not have an automatic chemical controller, so the free chlorine and pH must be tested every 4 hours that the pool is open, per the Ohio Administrative Code. Established pool hours and/or an automatic chemical controller from ODH's approved list may be considered to reduce the amount of testing required per day.
