The licensee /authorized representative was not keeping or maintaining operational records. -Observered there were no operational records available for the wading pool. -MAINTAIN ALL REQUIRED RECORDS FOR THE WADING POOL. THEY ARE TO BE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION.
All facility records must be maintained and available for review upon request.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(h) / Required meters and gauges maintained/functional
Required meters and gauges were not maintained or were not functional while the pool is in operation. -Observed the flow meter was not operating properly during the inspection. -REPAIR OR REPLACE THE FLOW METER.
Maintain all meters and gauges in a properly funtioning manner at all times while the pool is in operation.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(q) / Depth markers/deck warning signs are maintained
Depth markers/deck warning signs were not maintained in a clearly legible/visible manner. -Observed the deck warning signs were fading and difficult to read. REPAINT OR REPLACE THE DECK WARNINGS AND DEPTH MARKERS.
Replace the depth markers/deck warning signs so that bathers are able to clearly see the depth of the water and that no diving is permitted where clearly indicated.
3701-31-04 (C)(2) / pH is within 7.2 to 7.8
pH was outside the range of 7.2 to 7.8. -Observed the pH was less than 7.0. -PROMPTLY ADJUST THE pH OF THE WADING POOL.
Treat the pool water so that the pH is within the acceptable range.
3701-31-04 (C)(3) / Total alkalinity is at or greater than 60 ppm
Total alkalinity was less than 60 ppm. -Observed the alkalinity was 0. -PROMPTLY ADJUST THE ALKALINITY TO BE AT LEAST 60 PPM.
Raise the total alkalinity to at least 60 ppm.

-Promptly adjust the water chemistry for the wading pool. Ensure employees are testing the wading pool and recording all required parameters at the required frequencies. Ensure full dates including the year are documented on the water testing sheets.

-Have the drain cover certificate of compliance with installation dates available for inspection by the next standard inspection.
