Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Standard

Inspection Date: 03-June-2022

Comments
CHECK THE PRESSURE GAUGE ON TOP OF THE FILTER. IT WAS READING 52 PSI.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE CHLORINE LEVEL BE REDUCED TO BELOW 10 PPM.
DEPTH MARKING WILL NEED TO BE REPAINTED BEFORE NEXT YEAR.
HAVE THE BACKFLOW PREVENTER INSPECTED ANNUALLY.
THE BATHROOM HAND SINK SHOULD HAVE HOT WATER PER BUILDING CODE.
POOL WILL NEED TO BE PARTIALLY DRAINED NEXT MONTH TO AVOID CYA EXCEEDING MAXIMUM LEVELS OF 70 PPM.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover(s) is/are available in the equipment room. Our records reveal that the main drain suction outlet covers (Lawson Neptune Benson MLD-SG-1212) were installed on 5-1-21. The covers have a 10 year life span and must be replaced before 5-1-31.
