Comments
The pool was not open for the season at the time of inspection. Items that need to be done:
-post signs that state "Swimming alone is not recommended", "Children must be supervised", "Warning: No Lifeguard", "Emergency phone is located at the front desk", "The first aid kit is available at the front desk", and when the pool is closed for the day or for the season "Warning: pool closed"
-Obtain a DPD test kit that can test free, combine, and total chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and cyanuric acid.
-test all chlorines and pH every 4 hours, water temperature daily, alkalinity and cyanuric acid weekly and the Vac Alert before opening and once a month.
-tighten the hand rail and steps
-replace the gate latch
-level the concrete by the ladder
-replace the rubber coupling with a rigid pipe
-keep free chlorine level at 1 ppm or higher and cyanuric acid below 70 ppm
