Inspection Information

Facility Type: Pool

[?] Inspection Type: Follow-up

Inspection Date: 26-October-2023

Comments
-A re-inspection was conducted to verify the free chlorine was above 1ppm. Observed the free chlorine to be 12ppm. Note: THE CDC DOES NOT RECOMMEND CHLORINE LEVELS TO BE ABOVE 10PPM.
-The operator was given tips on water testing to improve the accuracy of the results. Acceptable water chemistry and necessary corrective actions were reviewed.
-Discussed using the DPD powder for testing chlorine, because the method that is currently used does not allow accurate readings above 10ppm, and when the operator "shocks" the pool, they don't know how high the actual chlorine reading is.
-Discussed frequencies for testing the flow switch. This is to be tested and recorded monthly.
-No further follow-up is required at this time.
