All equipment must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturers specifications. REDUCE THE FLOW RATE TO 63 GPM OR LESS.
3701-31-04 (B)(6)(y) / Chemicals are properly stored/used
Critical Repeat Chemical containers were stored without labels identifying the contents.
Label and properly store all chemical containers to avoid a chemical reaction or unnecessary exposure. DO NOT STACK DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHEMICALS ON TOP OF EACH OTHER.
3701-31-04 (D)(7)(d) / Flow or pressure switch with a shut off valve shall be provided and tested monthly.
Critical Repeat Flow or pressure switch for a shut off valve was not provided or the unit was not tested monthly
Have the ACC unit serviced or replaced with a unit that has a flow or pressure switch with an automatic shut off valve. Provide records indicating that the unit is being tested monthly. TEST AND RECORD THE AUTOMATIC CHEMICAL CONTROLLER FLOW SWITCH FUNCTION MONTHLY. RECORD IT ON THE LOG SHEET.
3701-31-04 (D)(8) / Acceptable test kit provided/adequate/in good repair
Repeat The test kit provided was not adequate to test for all the water quality parameters required to be regularly monitored.
Obtain a test kit that can properly measure all the required water quality parameters. OBTAIN DPD CHLORINE REAGENTS FOR TESTING CHLORINE.
3701-31-04 (E)(2)(e) / Working emergency telephone/call box provided.
Repeat Emergency device (telephone) was not working.
Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities. REPAIR EMERGENCY PHONE. THE EMERGENCY PHONE MUST BE ANSWERED AT THE FRONT DECK IMMEDIATELY, OR THE POOL PHONE MUST RING DIRECTLY TO THE EMERGENCY SYSTEM 9-1-1.

Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (AquaStar A10RRCFR) were installed 3-24-22. The covers have a 5 year life span and must be replaced before 3-24-27.

The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain covers is available in the equipment room.

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles are available for handling chemicals.

The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately and is aware of the acceptable parameters and necessary corrective actions.
