Comments
The operator was observed performing onsite chemical tests appropriately
The Certificate of Compliance for the main drain cover is available in the office.

Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Hayward WG1048E) were installed 5/15/2018. The covers have a 7 year life span and must be replaced before 5/15/2025.

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.

When using CYA (cyanuric acid) the alkalinity level is calculated by subtracting 1/3 the CYA level from the alkalinity reading. EXAMPLE: alkalinity test reading = 70 ppm, CYA = 60 ppm. Alkalinity is 70 ppm – (60/3) = 50 ppm
