Critical Corrected During Inspection Water clarity was not sufficient to see the pool bottom (or Secchi disc). -Observed the pool water was cloudy, and the main drain cover could barely be seen from the pool deck. -The pool operator closed the pool during the inspection.
Do not operate the pool when water clarity is poor.
3701-31-04 (B)(4)(a)(vi) / Total alkalinity is tested weekly
Total alkalinity was not tested weekly. -Observed alkalinity is not being recoreded weekly. TEST AND RECORD THE ALKALINITY AT LEAST WEEKLY.

Critical Corrected During Inspection Pool bromine disinfectant residual was below 2 ppm. -Observed the bromine level was 1.5ppm. -The operator closed the pool during the inspection.

Comments
-Provide signage at the pool to the location of the first aid kit.

-Ensure the first aid kit, emergency phone, spine board, ring buoy, and shepherd's hook are always accessible to patrons at the pool when the pool is open.

-The operator asked the patron by the pool to leave, and the pool gate was locked, and a closed sign was hung during the inspection. THE POOL IS TO BE CLOSED IF THE BROMINE IS BELOW 2.0ppm. This should be noted in the records as well.

-The operator was given tips on water testing to improve the accuracy of the results. Acceptable water chemistry and necessary corrective actions were reviewed.

-The Certificate of Compliance is not available for the main drain cover. If the certificate of compliance with the installation date cannot be obtained, the main drain covers are to be replaced.
