Equipment, at a public swimming pool, was changed/altered without obtaining approval from the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). The circulation pump Hayward SP2610X15 was replaced with a Hayward SV700.

Ensure that the emergency device is functioning properly and rings to the emergency response authorities. THE EMERGENCY PHONE MUST BE LOCATED SO AS TO BE ACCESSIBLE AT ALL TIMES. IT CAN NOT BE LOCATED INSIDE THE EQUIPMENT ROOM. Correct By: 31-May-2023

Comments
Ensure the flow rate is between 58 and 122 gpm. You might want to adjust it up a bit.

The Certificate of Compliance is not available for the main drain cover. One was supplied to operator with the inspection report. Keep a copy at the facility for future review. Our records show that the main drain suction outlet covers (Lawson MLD-FGD-0909) were installed 5/1/2017. The covers have a 10 year life span and must be replaced before 5/1/2027.

Keep a pump onsite to drain the pool.

Keep the chemicals’ Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the equipment room and have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as chemical gloves and goggles available for handling chemicals.
